Patriotic Cupcake Painting

I painted this Patriotic Cupcake on a gallery wrapped canvas.  The sides of the canvas are about 2 inches deep.  Gallery wrapped canvas paintings don't need to be framed, they are designed to hang "as is" but certainly can be framed.  I like how colorful this painting is, and actually it is a little more colorful in person, the photo lost some of the yellow background intensity. 
It isn't quite as "realistic" as my other paintings but I like the color and style of it.  

I bought the confection cupcake at Eat Cake Bakery in Newburyport MA the day of the Superbowl, (got to love those Patriots) and yes it was yummy!    :)  Tracy
