My Mom passed away 2 years ago in November. She has been on my mind so much. I painted this in honor of my mother; this is an American Beauty Rose, Bone China Tea Cup from her set of bone china dishes.
She loved roses, especially red and pink ones, therefore she chose the Royal Albert American Beauty pattern for her china dishes, which she called her "good" dishes. I enjoyed painting one of the tea cups and thinking of her while I worked on it. She would have loved this painting. Miss you Mom. :) Tracy
