Baseball Dreams Realism Painting

I have a young friend that loves baseball.  In fact, I believe this young man has loved baseball since he was born (I have known him for that long).  I can’t remember a time when he didn’t want to play baseball or watch a game.  I have enjoyed countless hours of seeing him in his back yard hitting balls and playing catch with his father. 
I painted this for him for his birthday.  He was very pleased.
 

My intent was that the lone baseball sitting in the baseball park would tell a big story in a very simple way.  Many dreams, memories and good times are represented in this painting as all focus rests on a small baseball.
