A-Z Art Challenge Week 3: Candy Canes
For the letter C, I chose to paint Candy Canes on an 8 x 10 textured panel.
I was sick this week so I didn't get into the studio very much. trying to keep up with the challenge, I had to call this done before I would normally. It isn't my best work but I am still on target.
The candy canes are chocolate mint flavor so they have black and red stripes instead of all red or pink, and they have a plastic shrink wrap coating on them which was interesting to recreate in the painting.
Sooooo, on to the letter D. (can you guess what the subject will be?) :) Tracy
