I always enjoy including glass in my still life paintings.  I think it's the challenge to make it look like it does in real life that I enjoy, and glass can have many variations for challenge.  Glass jars can be empty and clear through, there can be raised or embossed lettering in the glass, there is colored glass, or with fluid inside or filled with other objects, and so on.  In the painting below the challenge was to create the milk inside the jar but behind the raised design on it.   What do you think, did I pull it off?
